Engineering Support Technician

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to operational performance by providing technical support for OTIS spare parts and ensuring the reliability of associated data
- Analyze technical requests and formalize appropriate responses (for customers, suppliers, internal teams)
- Research technical information to identify parts and handle requests
- Lead analysis of performance indicators (response times, conversion rates, request typologies)
- Propose improvement actions: standardization of items, optimization of supplier selection, enhancement of technical data, etc.
- Assume responsibility for the ETQ scope and monitor product compliance for items overseen by WHQ
Requirements
What you’ll need- Education: Bac+2 to Bac+5 (IUT / IUP) in electrotechnical engineering, mechanical engineering, or industrial methods
- 5–10 years of experience in a technical environment (technical support, engineering, methods, drafter/designer, foreman, etc.)
- Good knowledge of engineering environments
- Strong understanding of spare parts management and obsolescence issues
- Familiarity with modernization kits/packages
- Experience managing technical databases and performing data analysis
