About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as a trusted business partner to local management, translating financial information into clear insights
Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly and quarterly rolling forecasts
Analyze financial performance and explain variances versus plan, forecast, and prior year
Translate numbers into narratives, delivering clear conclusions and actionable recommendations to senior management
Challenge business assumptions and proactively flag risks and opportunities impacting P&L performance
Prepare and continuously improve management reports, dashboards, and ad‑hoc analyses for leadership teams
Partner independently with commercial and operational leaders to steer decision‑making and performance
Drive improvements in FP&A processes, tools, and data quality to increase efficiency, transparency, and scalability

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
3- 5+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, Controlling or a similar finance role
Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand, challenge and explain figures and underlying business drivers
Confident communicator, able to interact with senior stakeholders and present insights clearly
Business-oriented mindset, eager to move beyond reporting and actively influence decisions
Able to work independently, challenge stakeholders constructively, and translate complex data into actionable insights without close supervision
Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI) and ERP systems is a plus
Fluent in English; Dutch or French is a plus
