Field Accounting Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the month-end and year end closing processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Ensure strict adherence to internal controls, company policies and relevant accounting standards (e.g. GAAP / IFRS)
- Ensure accuracy in the systems and processes that we use within the business (JDE, Qlik, CRM etc)
- Act as a key liaison between the finance department and other departments to support business needs
- Manage general ledger accounts, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data
- Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, systems and reporting mechanisms to enhance data quality
- Mentor and lead the team of 3, overseeing their professional development
- Support external audit preparation by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial results and processes
- Support Internal Audit ACA reviews and IC enquiries
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or equivalent
- Relevant professional accounting qualification – ACA, ACCA, CIMA
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft software and tools
- Fluent written and spoken English essential
