About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the month-end and year end closing processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Ensure strict adherence to internal controls, company policies and relevant accounting standards (e.g. GAAP / IFRS)
Ensure accuracy in the systems and processes that we use within the business (JDE, Qlik, CRM etc)
Act as a key liaison between the finance department and other departments to support business needs
Manage general ledger accounts, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data
Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, systems and reporting mechanisms to enhance data quality
Mentor and lead the team of 3, overseeing their professional development
Support external audit preparation by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial results and processes
Support Internal Audit ACA reviews and IC enquiries

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or equivalent
Relevant professional accounting qualification – ACA, ACCA, CIMA
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft software and tools
Fluent written and spoken English essential
