About the role

  • Develop, architect, and deploy Workday Extend applications
  • Gather requirements and test the applications
  • Provide subject matter expertise on key business process decisions related to Workday Extend
  • Facilitate end-to-end process reviews and recommend process changes or enhancements
  • Work closely with COEs, shared services, employees, and managers to ensure solutions meet the requirements
  • Design and develop scalable applications using Workday Extend
  • Build and maintain integrations using Workday Studio and Orchestrate
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with project timelines
  • Support and enhance existing Extend applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Extend and Studio integrations
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and code reviews
  • Prepare documentation for release management

Requirements

  • 4 year college degree and/or 3+ years of experience meeting above competencies
  • 3+ years of experience in Workday Extend development
  • 2+ years of experience with Workday Studio integrations
  • Strong understanding of Workday data model, business processes, and security
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate across teams and with stakeholders
  • Passion for creating innovative solutions and a willingness to learn Workday Core products
  • Experience with OO programming, APIs, and Postman
  • Familiarity with HTML, Workday Business Process configuration, and Workday Core
  • Basic knowledge of Agile and project management methodologies
  • Experience with Workday Prism, EIBs, and Core Connectors
  • Workday certifications in Studio or Extend
