About the role

  • Provide leadership, training, and technical direction to Modernization employees and field operations staff, including support for large bids
  • Analyze office-level financial results, identify variances and drivers, report and support findings with corrective actions
  • Monitor field tests as well as first inspection and data reports
  • Collaborate with field teams to diagnose and resolve equipment issues and critical customer concerns, ensuring operational continuity and customer satisfaction
  • Analyze complaint trends and implement solutions to address systemic issues and enforce adherence to estimated schedules
  • Champion operational excellence through process accountability across the Modernization field Operations team within the Operating Area
  • Develop and communicate recommendations for product designs and performance requirements
  • Responsible for the quality of all modernizations in the Operating Area

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years elevator industry experience required
  • Management experience required
  • Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
  • Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers
  • Needs to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities
  • Successful candidate should be very comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software
  • Strong leadership skills, goal-oriented, and self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills
