About the role
- Provide leadership, training, and technical direction to Modernization employees and field operations staff, including support for large bids
- Analyze office-level financial results, identify variances and drivers, report and support findings with corrective actions
- Monitor field tests as well as first inspection and data reports
- Collaborate with field teams to diagnose and resolve equipment issues and critical customer concerns, ensuring operational continuity and customer satisfaction
- Analyze complaint trends and implement solutions to address systemic issues and enforce adherence to estimated schedules
- Champion operational excellence through process accountability across the Modernization field Operations team within the Operating Area
- Develop and communicate recommendations for product designs and performance requirements
- Responsible for the quality of all modernizations in the Operating Area
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years elevator industry experience required
- Management experience required
- Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
- Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers
- Needs to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities
- Successful candidate should be very comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software
- Strong leadership skills, goal-oriented, and self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills
