About the role
- Troubleshooting malfunctioning equipment and determining corrective actions
- Providing training on all types of equipment
- Designing and delivering field education classes
- Ensuring quality of all service work, new installations, and modernization
- Consulting with engineering personnel on equipment issues and suggesting changes
- Interacting with customers to explain technical problems
- Leading and influencing team members and customers through challenging situations
Requirements
- 5+ years relevant technical elevator experience required
- Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects
- Strong leadership skills, goal-orientated, strong time management and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Otis and non-Otis software, as well as preferred experience with current and vintage Otis and non-Otis products
