Project Manager

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary transportation and transit projects from planning through construction, delivering high-quality, context-sensitive designs

• Lead civil sheet development, prepare final PS&E packages, and support construction through submittal reviews, RFIs, and site visits

Senior Project Manager

• Participate in business development activities including client meetings and preparation of proposals, while developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Oversee design services for roadway, grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion control in conformance with local, state, and federal regulations for a variety of public agencies.
• Oversee preparation of specifications and cost estimates.
• Plan and coordinate projects with limited supervision.
• Assist in assigning duties and schedules to team member.
• Prepare project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Provide construction support services.
• Guide and mentor internal team members and support their professional development.
• Take active role in quality control and quality assurance (QA/QC) program.

Designer

• Perform design support related to roadways, trails, and site layout, including grading, drainage/stormwater, utilities, and erosion control, in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Assist with hydrologic and hydraulic analyses.
• Support the preparation of construction plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Assist with quantity takeoffs and construction cost estimates.
• Apply AutoCAD and/or GIS skills to produce figures and supporting design documents.
• Support construction-phase services as needed.

Civil Design Intern

IT Support

• Lead and champion capture planning in partnership with the marketing leadership and technical teams to define the project, our approach, decision makers, competition, and Otak differentiators.
• Conduct market, client, and competitor research to inform pursuit strategies and proposal messaging.
• Manage the submittal phase in collaboration with technical and marketing staff to produce high-quality proposals, statements of qualification, and related materials.
• Oversee and support the preparation, writing, editing, and integration of all content.
• Support client interviews and pursuit related meetings, including coaching presenters and developing presentation materials.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Business Development and Communications teams to strengthen the firms brand, align messaging, and achieve pursuit and growth objectives.
• Mentor and train technical and marketing coordinators on pursuit best practices, proposal writing, and interview preparation.

Marketing Pursuit Manager

• Manage multidisciplinary teams and project delivery, with a focus on stormwater infrastructure, fish passage, river and stream restoration, and flood mitigation projects in Puget Sound
• Prepare various reports supporting design decisions and permitting
• Direct and oversee the preparation of floodplain and watershed studies, hydrologic and hydraulic design reports, and construction documents
• Guide staff in preparing design calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports
• Develop and manage project scopes, schedules and budgets
• Participate in team strategy meetings on business development and technical delivery
