About the role
- Support the supply chain organization and supply base with planning and execution of processes to improve supplier performance
- Interface with individual buyers and category managers
- Complete Level 1-4 PPAP review and disposition
- Validate supplier capabilities, capacity and quality systems
- Address short term performance issues through 8D/SCAR
- Apply lean principle methodology to drive continuous improvement efforts
- Lead supplier continuous improvement events (CIEs)
- Participate in councils to share project results and solicit feedback
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree within Engineering or Engineering Technology
- Three (3) or more years of experience within Supply Chain or related field
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking the English language
