About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for driving continuous improvement efforts across different engineering disciplines
Participate in engineering activities to ensure successful product development, timely execution of programs, and total customer satisfaction
Work with multiple engineering disciplines and product development teams to create total systems solutions
Establish system architecture, perform system trades and analysis, and support verification and validation planning and execution
Position requires 25% domestic travel

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree (for foreign degree equivalent) in Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or related field of study
6 years of experience as a Senior Engineer, Specialist, Product Assurance Engineer, or related role
3 years with tools such as Vector CANalyzer, CANoe, PEAK PCAN, or Kvaser CANKing
5 years developing automotive diagnostic tools using large OEM process and procedures
3 years leading cross-functional teams, gathering stakeholder input, performing project planning, and regularly reporting progress to leadership
3 years in requirements management tools for systems engineering such as DOORS, Integrity/Codebeamer, or Jama
Knowledge of CAN, UDS, KWP2000, K-line and L-line (LIN) communication and protocols
