About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Travel to customer sites (approx. 80% travel) to provide hands-on service for various types of equipment
Diagnose, repair, and perform routine maintenance on hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
Interface with PLC systems to upload/download programs, troubleshoot logic, and perform control system adjustments
Collaborate with dealer technicians for troubleshooting assistance
Review technical documentation to ensure accurate service procedures
Maintain detailed documentation through work order systems
Participate in OEM testing and equipment upgrades as needed
Provide end-user product orientation and safe operating procedures at customer sites
Mentor or train junior technicians when required

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED
five (5) or more years of relevant experience in machine assembly, light fabrication; or previous relevant contracting experience with Oshkosh Corporation; or an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the role
Ability to travel up to 50-60%
Proficient in: Electrical diagnostics and repair
Mechanical systems and component-level service
Hydraulic diagnostics and repair
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to obtain a passport if necessary
Must be able to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment
