About the role

  • Design, automate, and maintain infrastructure systems and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins
  • Automate and streamline operations tasks to enable development teams
  • Integrate AI-assisted tools to automate repetitive tasks, improve monitoring, and accelerate deployment processes
  • Lead adoption and operation of Docker and Kubernetes for resilient service deployment, scaling, and recovery
  • Implement Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stacks, Application Insights and Log Analytics for observability
  • Track and improve DevOps metrics (deployment frequency, lead time for changes, change failure rate) and establish dashboards
  • Embed DevSecOps practices across workflows, manage secrets securely, and enhance monitoring and logging
  • Bridge cloud engineering and development teams; partner with developers, QA, and operations
  • Mentor junior engineers, maintain runbooks and internal guides, participate in agile planning, and debug operational issues as they arise

Requirements

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins
  • Hands-on expertise with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Cloud background strongest in Azure, or with AWS and/or GCP
  • Development skills in Java, Bash, and Python
  • Experience working with databases
  • Understand and apply DevSecOps practices such as IAM, RBAC, TLS, and secret management
  • Implemented monitoring and logging with tools like Prometheus or Grafana
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records, healthcare standards such as HL7 and FHIR, and compliance frameworks like ISO 27001, SOC 2, or PHIPA (preferred)
  • Fluent in AI-assisted DevOps workflows and experience integrating AI-assisted tools such as Claude Code or Copilot
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Thrive in autonomous roles and taking ownership of systems
  • Ability to participate in agile and sprint planning processes
