About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, build, support, administer, and maintain network devices
- Respond to incidents, and recover from service degradations and outages
- Support all network capabilities across all supported environments/enclaves
- Plan, coordinate, execute, troubleshoot, and document change requests
- Apply and validate cyber security patches on managed assets
- Coordinate with external agencies for network configuration of circuits and VPN
- Develop and maintain PPS (Ports, Protocols, and Services)
- Establish networking environment by designing system configuration
- Maximize network performance by monitoring performance and troubleshooting issues
- Report network operational status by gathering/prioritizing information
- Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies
- Collaborate with Technical Director and Development Team on Network requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Eight or more years of experience in network administration
- Valid CCNP Certification
- Valid Security+ Certification
- High School Diploma or Equivalency
- Active U.S. Government Clearance or ability to obtain
- Must be U.S. citizen
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
