About the role
- Conduct end-to-end digital forensic investigations
- Perform forensic imaging and analysis of physical and virtual endpoints
- Support electronic discovery (e-discovery) activities
- Analyze file systems, registry artifacts, browser history, email archives, log files, and other digital artifacts
- Conduct memory forensics and volatile data analysis
- Support network forensics activities
- Maintain rigorous chain of custody documentation
- Collaborate with the Security Operations team to support incident response activities
- Produce clear, thorough forensic investigation reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline
- 5+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in digital forensics, incident response, or e-discovery in a professional or regulated environment
- Ability to pass a background and drug screening
- Identification compliant with the Real ID Act at time of hire
- Ability to obtain Department of Energy access badge
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance
