About the role

  • Conduct end-to-end digital forensic investigations
  • Perform forensic imaging and analysis of physical and virtual endpoints
  • Support electronic discovery (e-discovery) activities
  • Analyze file systems, registry artifacts, browser history, email archives, log files, and other digital artifacts
  • Conduct memory forensics and volatile data analysis
  • Support network forensics activities
  • Maintain rigorous chain of custody documentation
  • Collaborate with the Security Operations team to support incident response activities
  • Produce clear, thorough forensic investigation reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in digital forensics, incident response, or e-discovery in a professional or regulated environment
  • Ability to pass a background and drug screening
  • Identification compliant with the Real ID Act at time of hire
  • Ability to obtain Department of Energy access badge
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance
