About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability, reliability Business Partner Transparency products within the Osapiens HUB platform.
  • You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing both manual and automated testing strategies, working closely with development teams to foster a strong quality-driven culture from the ground up.
  • You will perform end-to-end testing across backend integrations, frontend, and mobile.
  • This is an opportunity to work with different frameworks.
  • You will face the challenge of handling multiple tasks and balancing different domains within a team that is committed to supporting your growth.
  • You will also be involved in application testing and in developing automated tests, contributing to the creation of effective strategies to implement automation across various areas of the product.
  • This role is based in Madrid, where you'll collaborate with a talented, forward-thinking team. We embrace a hybrid work model, offering the perfect balance between in-person collaboration and remote flexibility.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer or SDET, with a solid track record in delivering high‑quality automated testing solutions.
  • Deep understanding of software testing principles, QA methodologies, and best practices, including strong attention to detail in both documentation and test execution.
  • Hands‑on experience with web automation, preferably using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience with API testing and API automation, ideally using Jest or similar testing frameworks.
  • Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines - Azure DevOps/Gitlab/Jenkins or other, including test automation integration, and familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying quality gaps and proposing improvements.
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative working style when partnering with developers, product managers, and cross‑functional teams.
  • Experience using AI‑powered tools (e.g., for test generation, code assistance, debugging, exploratory testing, or automation optimization) is considered a strong plus.
  • Fluent in English (C1+)
