About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

As a **Financial Accountant**, you will contribute your expertise to take our finance team to the next level and help build a scalable finance function.
You will take ownership, optimize processes, establish forward-looking standards, and support our international expansion in the USA, France, the Netherlands, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Italy.

You are far more than a traditional accountant – you are an operational and strategic partner who shapes future-proof processes and supports all stakeholders with confidence and expertise.
Based at our headquarters in Mannheim, you will play a key role in enabling our global growth.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed vocational training with further qualification as a tax clerk or certified accountant, or a degree in business administration with a focus on accounting.
Several years of professional experience (at least 3–5 years) in accounting, including strong experience with annual financial statement audits and accounting-related projects, ideally in an international environment.
Solid knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and tax law; additional knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP (including SOX) is an advantage.
Ability to work within complex IT system landscapes and further develop them; experience in standardizing and digitalizing accounting processes.
Confident user of Excel, DATEV and CRM systems. Experience in Oracle NetSuite is a plus.
Fluent German (C2) and very good English skills (B2), both written and spoken.
