About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform and support supplier engagements for internal customers throughout the supplier lifecycle
  • Guide stakeholders through established procurement processes and systems
  • Source suppliers and run competitive bids using RFPs
  • Prepare contract negotiation strategies incorporating business requirements, cost, and TCO modeling
  • Manage the contract lifecycle and supplier relationships through offboarding or termination
  • Support business units with category-of-spend strategies
  • Conduct new supplier intake reviews, supplier-base reduction, cost-run-rate reduction, and alignment of business requirements with the supply base
  • Support supplier performance and supplier relationship management issues
  • Present data analysis to senior and executive management for decision-making
  • Manage projects within the Source to Pay lifecycle

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in a Business or Finance Related Field
  • 3-5 years of experience with supplier management, commodity management, or managing categories of spend
  • 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry
  • 3-5 years of experience with sourcing and contract lifecycle management systems
  • Experience with contracting fundamentals and contract negotiations
  • Experience lowering overall cost run rates through contracting
  • Experience establishing and maintaining categories-of-spend strategies
  • Intermediate analytical skills, including TCO models, pivot tables, and Excel-based data analysis
  • Experience running RFx processes, supplier selection, and stakeholder management
  • Project management experience within the Source to Pay lifecycle
  • Experience working with and influencing senior leaders and managing them as stakeholders
  • Experience presenting data analysis to senior and executive management
  • Experience supporting supplier performance and supplier relationship issues
  • Experience with supplier reduction strategies through acquisitions and mergers
  • Knowledge of shared services industry trends, regulatory considerations, and major issues
  • Knowledge of processes, tools, and techniques for detecting, addressing, and preventing fraudulent situations
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office and cross-functional application features
  • Preferred: 5-8 years of relevant supplier manager experience
  • Preferred: 5-8 years of relevant financial services industry experience
  • Preferred: 5-8 years of experience with sourcing and contract lifecycle management systems
  • Preferred certifications in Supplier Management, Supply Chain Management, or Commodity Management (ASCM, APICS, CPSM, CSMP)
  • Must be located at one of Osaic’s listed hubs and willing to work a minimum of 4 days weekly in the office
