About the role
- Analyse key process data to implement continuous improvement and reliability strategies.
- Manage plant repair and maintenance expenditures.
- Lead capital projects by managing equipment installation, timelines, budgets and stakeholder communications.
- Provide technical advice and assistance to the plant regarding equipment, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.
- Assure commitment to Safety, Environmental, and Quality systems while assisting in the development of autonomous work groups.
Requirements
- Hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Possess relevant experience in a similar role within the FMCG or process manufacturing sectors.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles and reliability-centred strategies.
- Exhibit the ability to work autonomously while effectively managing complex issues and data.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage stakeholders from the shop floor to the management level.
- An organized, proactive self-starter with the ability to lead and execute projects.
