About the role

  • Performs accounts payable functions including review of invoices, obtaining approval for payment, and processing transactions
  • Post and balance general and subsidiary ledgers
  • Administer the Lease Query Accounting software
  • Maintain all leases for the Credit Union and CUSO
  • Perform various support functions as part of the accounting and record keeping function

Requirements

  • Three or more years of financial institution accounting/bookkeeping experience
  • A degree in Accounting is required
  • Experience with Credit Union accounting preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365, with an emphasis on Excel
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Detail oriented and accurate.
