About the role
- Responsible for world-class exploration and development of geothermal resources globally
- Supports world-class operations of geothermal power plants with geoscience excellence
- Lead a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment creating significant value for the Company.
- Ensure compliance for self and team with internal policies as well as legal and governmental legislation
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders
- Oversee the functional responsibility across Geology and Geophysics
- Efficiently manage the company’s geothermal exploration and development portfolio
- Provide ongoing financial forecasts and budget management for relevant cost centers
- Develop and improve systems and processes within the area of responsibility
Requirements
- Must possess Master of Science or Engineering in a relevant subject
- A Doctorate degree in a relevant subject is advantageous
- A major in Geology is preferred
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in managing people
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the industry or related fields
- Experience in Project Management is preferred
- Experience under the PMI project management framework is preferred, ideally holding either CAPM or PMP qualification
- Must demonstrate being a team player with high emotional intelligence
- Strong ability to plan, coordinate and direct varied and complex programs and tasks
- Understanding of accounting, contract management, HR, procurement and other administrative functions
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and use of the Internet
- Proficiency in geoscience acquisition, processing and interpretation is required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must read, write and speak English proficiently
- Proficiency in other languages is advantageous, especially in Spanish and Bahasa (Indonesia).
