About the role

  • Assist in Project Planning: Support the project engineering team in the development of project schedules, resource planning, and design coordination for utility-scale BESS projects.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance in reviewing designs, schematics, and specifications related to electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
  • Documentation: Help prepare and organize project documentation, including engineering drawings, reports, and equipment specifications.
  • Vendor Coordination: Assist in coordinating with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.
  • Site Visits: Participate in site visits to observe construction and installation activities.
  • Problem Solving: Work with the project team to identify and resolve technical challenges that arise during the design, procurement, or construction phases of the project.
  • Commissioning Support: Provide support during the commissioning phase of BESS projects, including helping with system testing, data collection, and documentation of results.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in energy storage, renewable energy, and large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, with coursework or project experience in energy systems being a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think analytically and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites and participate in field activities.
