About the role

  • Translate technical documents, including manuals, reports, and presentations, from English to French.
  • Ensure translations are accurate, clear, and maintain the original meaning and context.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand technical terminology and concepts.
  • Review and edit translations for consistency and quality.
  • Maintain a glossary of technical terms and ensure consistent use across all translated documents.
  • Utilize SAP terminology and ensure translations align with company standards.
  • Meet project deadlines and manage multiple translation tasks simultaneously

Requirements

  • Proficiency in both English and French, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Experience in technical translation, preferably in the energy sector preferred.
  • Familiarity with SAP terminology and experience translating documents related to SAP systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality translations within deadlines.
  • Must have a high degree of initiative, ability to work with minimal or no supervision and a high level of confidentiality
  • Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Must have the ability to read, write and speak English at a level that will permit the employee to understand and communicate information in a manner that will enable the employee to safely and efficiently perform the job duties.
