About the role

  • Edit long-form and short-form YouTube videos to match a specific, established Orlando Informer creator's style
  • Replicate pacing, music usage, graphics, sound design, and overall storytelling approach based on provided examples
  • Assemble raw footage, screen recordings, voiceover, music, and graphics into finished videos
  • Add text overlays, basic motion graphics, b-roll, sound effects, and visual polish where appropriate
  • Ensure videos meet platform best practices for YouTube, including pacing, clarity, and viewer retention
  • Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently and accurately

Requirements

  • This is a remote, contract position
  • Proven experience editing YouTube videos, with samples that demonstrate consistency and strong storytelling
  • Ability to closely match an existing editing style and follow detailed creative direction
  • Strong proficiency with professional editing software such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
  • Comfort working with shared assets, brand guidelines, and reference videos
  • Excellent attention to detail, including timing, audio levels, text accuracy, and visual consistency
  • Strong communication skills and responsiveness in a remote work environment
  • Interest in or familiarity with theme parks, travel, or YouTube content is required
