About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and scale a high-performing, client-centric delivery function
- Own the managed services offering end-to-end—from team leadership and delivery quality to client success and revenue performance
- Act as a player-coach, leading the team while remaining billable in a Solution Architect capacity on managed services accounts
- Define and sell offerings with executive leadership
- Help define service tiers, engagement models, and delivery standards
- Manage team utilization, capacity planning, and revenue performance
- Hire, mentor, and grow a team of Solution Architects, Admins, and BAs
- Foster a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative culture
- Implement best practices across Agile delivery and managed services operations
- Act as a hands-on Solution Architect on key or complex accounts
- Lead requirements discussions and translate business needs into solutions
- Guide design decisions (declarative vs programmatic, integrations, etc.)
- Support critical releases, escalations, and solution design reviews
- Serve as the executive sponsor for managed services clients
- Ensure high-quality, consistent delivery across multiple engagements
- Lead strategic roadmap discussions and ongoing optimization efforts
- Proactively identify opportunities for expansion and additional value
- Standardize processes for intake, prioritization, and backlog management
- Ensure effective collaboration across business, technical, and QA teams
- Oversee release management across sandboxes and production environments
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery efficiency and scalability
- Stay current on Salesforce releases and ecosystem trends
- Introduce new service offerings, accelerators, and reusable assets
- Partner with Sales and Leadership to support growth and positioning of managed services
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years in Salesforce roles, with experience leading teams or delivery functions
- Proven experience in managed services, AMS, or multi-client delivery environments
- Strong understanding of utilization, margins, and delivery operations
- Hands-on experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect
- Strong background in end-to-end implementations and post-go-live support
- Experience with integrations and complex business processes
- Deep understanding of Salesforce capabilities and best practices
- Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients while maintaining high service quality
- Experience identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts
- Strong understanding of Agile and SDLC methodologies
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
