About the role
- Lead requirements gathering sessions, proactively drawing out requirements from stakeholders.
- Define the system landscape, identify gaps between current and desired end-states, and deliver a Salesforce solution.
- Create requirements definition documentation, including use cases, and functional specifications to capture business needs and for validation with the customer and share with project stakeholders.
- Create workflow diagrams to document current and future business environments.
- Develop wireframes, to ensure visualization of the UI is crisply understood by the client.
- Respond and communicate efficiently between the business, technology, and QA team on projects and facilitate resolution of user issues as and when necessary.
- Lead functional team to determine the best solution to implement (decisions around declarative vs programmatic vs AppExchange, etc.)
- Lead hands-on solution deployments across sandboxes and production orgs.
- Stay current on Salesforce releases, new features, product roadmaps, and applications available from 3rd parties on the Salesforce AppExchange.
Requirements
- 5+ years as a Salesforce Solution Architect with experience in end-to-end implementations including from scratch.
- Salesforce integration experience, including between different business systems and working with integration tools.
- Exceeds at advanced Salesforce configuration, process automation and implementation activities following Salesforce best practices.
- Exceptional client handling skills – able to work with all levels within the client portfolio.
- Proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions.
- Project management skills and exposure to project-based work structures.
- Thorough understanding of the various SDLC including AGILE.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent understanding of the capabilities and limitations of declarative configuration and when Apex and Visualforce should be used.
- Salesforce Certifications required and should be open to getting certified.
