About the role
- Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long‑range financial planning processes.
- Build, enhance, and maintain financial models and scenario tools to support decision‑making.
- Deliver high‑quality reporting, KPIs, dashboards, and insights to senior leadership.
- Act as the trusted voice on financial risk, proactively identifying emerging risks and opportunities across the business.
- Conduct deep‑dive reviews of revenue, cost drivers, margins, and operational risk areas; present clear mitigation strategies.
- Embed risk awareness and forward‑looking controls across the Finance team.
- Serve as a key partner to the Group Financial Controller, supporting operational finance quality, reporting cadence, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Build strong relationships across Finance, including FP&A, AP, Compliance, and Commercial teams.
- Influence senior stakeholders with clear, concise insights, and challenge assumptions constructively.
- Provide financial leadership in strategic initiatives, commercial decision‑making, pricing, and investment appraisal.
- Support continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy, financial processes, systems, and automation.
- Lead and participate in Finance transformation and value‑creation projects.
Requirements
- Big Four trained and qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years’ progressive experience in financial planning, analysis, or business partnering, preferably within technology or international scaling firms
- Strong modelling, analytical, and data‑driven decision‑making skills
- Power BI experience desirable
- Proven experience proactively identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
- Experience partnering directly with Financial Controllers or senior finance leadership is highly advantageous.
