About the role

  • Collaborating with our team of Landscape Architects, Ecologists and Arboriculturists
  • Assisting senior colleagues with project management, design development, graphic production, design work and detail drawing production
  • Attending site visits
  • Working at all stages of the planning, design and implementation process

Requirements

  • BA and/MA or PGDip in Landscape Architecture
  • Previous experience in the landscape profession
  • Excellent graphic, verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to develop designs on paper as well as digitally
  • Strong interpersonal skills to enable collaborative working
  • Significant technical knowledge and a basic understanding of the RIBA/LI work stages and production of detailed design drawings
  • Robust IT skills, with good working knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign and a strong flair for design
  • A basic understanding of the planning system
  • Full UK Driving License and willingness to travel
  • Experience in KeySCAPE, QGIS NBS, hand sketching and, SketchUp including digital rendering (desirable)
  • Good analytical and written skills with a potential interest in landscape planning, including Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) (desirable)
