About the role
- Develops and owns the events strategy, ensuring alignment with company growth objectives, regional market needs, and integrated marketing plans.
- Oversees planning, execution, and post-event analysis for flagship events including SKOs, client conferences, field activations, and tradeshows.
- Defines event goals, success metrics, and reporting frameworks to measure ROI and business impact.
- Partners with Sales, Customer Success, Product Marketing, and Executive Leadership to design high-value SKOs and scalable field marketing programs.
- Manages budgets, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations, and implements best practices for event operations and technology.
- Leads a high-performing team of event and field marketing professionals, including performance management and professional development.
- Tracks event performance through dashboards and analytics, continuously optimizing the event portfolio based on feedback and data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 10+ years in B2B marketing, with at least 5 years in senior-level field marketing or events leadership roles within the SaaS industry.
- Proven success leading large-scale events (1,000+ attendees) as well as targeted, account-based programs.
- Experience driving measurable pipeline impact through integrated event strategies.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing team.
- Strong budget management, contract negotiation, and vendor management experience.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills.
- Proficiency with event management platforms, CRM, and marketing automation tools.
