About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct engaging one-on-one online tutoring sessions for the SAT, ACT, or both.
Create customized lesson plans based on each student's goals, strengths, and areas for improvement.
Teach effective test-taking strategies and reinforce core academic concepts.
Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and families.
Assign and review practice tests, homework, and study materials.
Help students build confidence and achieve their target scores.

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience tutoring or teaching SAT and/or ACT preparation.
Deep understanding of SAT and/or ACT content, structure, and test-taking strategies.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience delivering online instruction.
Reliable internet connection and a professional remote work setup.
Availability to work with students during U.S. Eastern Time (ET) and European time zones.
Proven history of helping students achieve meaningful score improvements (preferred).
Experience working with high-achieving students preparing for competitive college admissions (preferred).
Familiarity with online teaching platforms and digital collaboration tools (preferred).
