Specialist Engineer – Rotating Equipment

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical leadership and engineering expertise across rotating equipment, including lifecycle analysis and turnaround support
- Support global manufacturing sites by improving reliability, performance, and equipment integrity
- Apply data driven engineering insights to reduce operational risk and extend asset life
- Lead or contribute to benchmarking, innovation initiatives, and best practice development
- Serve as a technical contributor to HAZOPs, LOPAs, and functional safety activities
- Actively participate in and help lead Communities of Practice across the business
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline)
- 7+ years of industry experience, including 4+ years of hands on rotating equipment experience in continuous or heavy manufacturing environments
- Strong background working with turbomachinery, compressors, steam turbines, and associated systems
- Working knowledge of API/ISO standards, NDE methods, vibration analysis, lubrication systems, thermography, and dynamic balancing
- Ability to influence across functions with clear communication, technical leadership, and mentoring skills
