About the role
- The Mining Engineer – Blasting will be responsible for providing technical and engineering support in the management of the storage, handling and use of explosives on site, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
- This role includes continuous monitoring and conducting audits to ensure all operations follow safety rules related to explosives, as well as serving as a technical reference for best practices and continuous improvement in blasting processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering (or a related field).
- Experience with blasting operations and the safe handling of explosives.
- Knowledge of regulations and standards governing the use and storage of explosives.
- Ability to monitor and audit processes.
- Intermediate English for technical communication.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Availability to work in Belo Horizonte.
