About the role
- Producing high-quality design drafting for Delivery Systems and Fixed Plant, including concept layouts and detailed construction drawings across civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
- Ensuring all drafting complies with the Design Quality Plan (DQP) and relevant Company and Australian Standards, maintaining safety requirements throughout.
- Reviewing and checking drafting work, supervising internal and external drafting activities, and supporting workflow management, prioritisation, and resourcing.
- Leading by example in Safety, Health, and Environment (SH&E) standards, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a strong safety culture.
- Utilising and continuously improving computer-aided drafting processes using AutoCAD and SolidWorks, applying expert knowledge to enhance design quality and efficiency.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in an engineering design drafting role.
- A thorough knowledge of AS1100 drawing standards.
- Practical understanding of materials handling and pumping systems.
- Skills in engineering design and drafting with extensive experience in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High integrity, creativity, and a collaborative approach to work.
