About the role
- Participate in executing financial and operational/healthcare compliance audits
- Lead small teams of auditors and perform audit work
- Execute audit programs and work papers in line with quality standards
- Collaborate with audit team in writing audit summaries and reports
- Coach staff during the execution of audits and assessments
Requirements
- Degree in business, marketing, law, or public policy
- Understanding of relevant healthcare compliance guidance, policies, codes, and regulations
- Up-to-date knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations
- A minimum of three years' work experience in internal audit and/or healthcare compliance
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Understanding of information technology and ability to use various applications and systems
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time
