About the role

  • Operation and further development of the build/DevOps environment.
  • Maintenance and upkeep of our DevOps servers, including updates and extensions.
  • Management of our build servers and ensuring a stable runtime environment.
  • Responsibility for availability, currency and technical consistency of the build toolchain.
  • CI/CD and pipeline engineering.
  • Creation, adaptation and maintenance of build pipelines in XAML and YAML.
  • Analysis of build issues and sustainable problem resolution.
  • Optimization of build processes with a focus on stability and repeatability.
  • Release/build monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Monitoring and verification of nightly builds.
  • Analysis of issues related to INTEGRA® updates.
  • Derivation of technical adjustments to the build process and the environment.
  • Release management and release closure.
  • System administration and tool operation.
  • DevOps and Microsoft Visual SourceSafe support for test and update installations and databases (MS SQL and Oracle).
  • Management of signatures and certificates (e.g., for builds/artifacts).
  • Maintenance of the online help.
  • Support and quality assurance for the INTEGRA® tools and utilities.
  • License and version management.
  • Responsibility for license administration and technical provisioning of Delphi and ER/Studio.
  • Support and maintenance of the development environment(s).
  • Automation and scripting.
  • Development and maintenance of automations using PowerShell and Batch.
  • Adjustments in the daily deployment environment, including FTP-related processes.
  • Documentation and quality assurance.
  • Creation of technical documentation for tools, extensions and procedures.
  • Execution of tool tests and support in stabilizing new extensions.
  • You will work closely with development teams to quickly identify technical root causes.
  • You focus on clean, stable and maintainable solutions rather than short-term quick fixes.
  • You take responsibility for an environment that others rely on daily.

Requirements

  • Practical experience operating technical infrastructure in a development environment (build servers, toolchains, CI/CD).
  • Experience with Microsoft DevOps (formerly Team Foundation Server) and possibly Microsoft Visual SourceSafe.
  • Very good knowledge of PowerShell and solid experience with Batch.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (XAML/YAML) and build/release processes.
  • Know-how around Windows-based build environments and classic toolchains.
  • Structured and careful working style for analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to document technical matters clearly and make them traceable.
  • Understanding of signatures, certificates and compliance requirements in build processes.
