Procurement

• The Procurement Manager for Electrical Balance of Systems (EBOS) is responsible for setting up, planning, executing, and maintaining vendor-specific purchasing plans that align with company revenue and profitability goals and market strategy for this vital product category.
• This role involves coordinating internal teams and our vendor partners to ensure timely supply of required EBOS products by leveraging expertise in commodity purchasing, deep product category knowledge, and skillful vendor relationship management.
• This position reports to the Director of Procurement
• PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Supply Planning (30%): Setup processes that are aligned with the way we should be operating with this category (Min/Max, native NS functionalities) Ensure we have systems and processes setup to execute high volume orders with accuracy and efficiency (constant search for improvement and automation/efficiency) Integrate demand plans from Sales and Branch Management Teams into vendor-specific purchasing plans for each EBOS item at every stocking location. Reconcile purchasing plans with product strategy, vendor fulfillment timelines, and product availability. Place purchase orders with each vendor specifying location, item, quantity, price, and fulfillment timelines. Monitor current inventory and open purchase orders to ensure that sales targets, and revenue goals are fully supported by appropriate inventory levels. Procurement Lifecycle Management (30%): Ensure execution of purchasing plans by reviewing, confirming, and getting regular updates from vendors regarding status of allocated production capacities and open orders. Maintain accurate purchase order data for pricing, timelines, and delivery expectations in internal systems in compliance with the Procurement Team’s policies, procedures, and processes. Coordinate spot-buy opportunities with Sales, Product Strategy, and Branch Management teams. Vendor Relationship Management (30%): Lead regular coordinating meetings with each vendor to review open orders, changes in product availability, updates to expected fulfillment timelines, and review open escalations and issues. Secure vendor production allocation that match required demand and go-to-market strategy. Ensure smooth onboarding of new vendors and items through accurate initial supply plans and build strong relationships within the vendors’ organization. Refine expertise with each vendor’s line card, their role in BayWa’s market strategy, and the wider electrical balance of system product category. Participate in monthly and quarterly vendor business reviews by providing vendor performance data. Functional Collaboration (10%): Collaborate on demand creation, including: Maintaining inventory health through modification of supply plan. Rebalancing existing inventory through transfer of items to align location-specific inventory levels. Aligning customer demand signals with inventory and supply plans. Collaborate to improve, standardize, and enhance procurement related processes, policies, and processes, data systems, and workflows. Serve as a resource for vendor, product category, item, and procurement expertise to BayWa colleagues. Keep internal teams informed on vendor and product developments including product roadmaps, availability, pricing, lead times, logistics, constraints, etc. Other projects as assigned.

Procurement Manager

Inside Sales

• Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing Inside Sales team focused on customer success and revenue generation.
• Set clear sales goals, KPIs, and activity expectations; track team performance and provide coaching.
• Partner with HR to recruit, onboard, and train new team members with an emphasis on solar product knowledge and sales skills.
• Develop inside sales strategies aligned with BayWa’s growth objectives and vendor partnerships.
• Collaborate with OSRs to drive pipeline growth, qualify opportunities, and convert leads to drive revenue.
• Ensure accurate and timely quoting, order entry, and pipeline management within NetSuite CRM.
• Build strong relationships with solar installer and contractor customers to ensure repeat business and long-term loyalty.

Inside Sales Manager

Account Manager

• Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for New Home Builder accounts, as well as their installer, financier, and manufacturer partners.
• Build trust and credibility with external stakeholders by providing reliable communication, timely updates, and proactive support.
• Represent BayWa at trade shows, builder association events (e.g., CBIA, BIASC), and industry networking opportunities to expand visibility and strengthen relationships.
• Manage bulk orders for builder accounts, ensuring accurate forecasting, order entry, and delivery schedules.
• Track pipeline activity and maintain builder account records in CRM (NetSuite), ensuring data accuracy for forecasting and reporting.
• Monitor account health, address service issues promptly, and escalate when needed to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Partner with the New Homes Project Lead and senior sales team to prepare presentations, proposals, and account updates.
• Research and identify potential builder partners, creating introductions and opening doors for senior sales to close larger opportunities.
• Participate in sales calls, site visits, and account reviews as needed to support growth objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales operations, logistics, marketing, and technical support) to ensure smooth onboarding and account experience.
• Provide input on builder account needs to help shape product offerings, logistics planning, and customer support models.
• Assist in developing builder-specific sales forecasts and reporting on channel performance.
• Stay current on solar and new homes industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes that may impact builder accounts.

New Homes Relationship Manager

Accounts Receivable

• Accurately receive, review, and apply customer payments to accounts in a timely manner.
• Generate invoice exceptions and distribute customer invoices daily.
• Assist AR Specialists with collection activities by communicating with customers on outstanding balances.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities.
• Maintain adherence to company accounting policies, SOX/internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Recommend and implement improvements to AR processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Accounts Receivable Coordinator

Business Development Rep

• Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to identify and grow designated strategic account relationships in order to achieve company sales and EBIT goals.
• Build and maintain exceptionally strong relationships with designated strategic customers using consultive selling tactics and working at all levels of the customer.
• Evangelize BayWa’s product and service offerings and help them to identify solutions that solve their business needs.
• Stay on top of solar industry trends by developing and maintaining relationships across the industry and attending industry focused events on behalf of BayWa.
• Collaborate cross functionally to develop and implement creative marketing strategies, forecasting activities, onboarding functions, and product solutions for our strategic.
• Help develop accounts, where needed, for our Regional Accounts team to help grow BayWa national footprint, regardless of whether Strategic Accounts manages an account directly.
• Negotiate win-win contracts and agreements with customers and vendors that solve their needs.
• Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, such as wallet share and revenue targets.
• Support regional sales team members through mentorship and onboarding training.

Business Development Manager

Sales

• Lead and advance a culture of high performance and accountability, including implementation of sales methodologies and training related to pricing/margin, special pricing agreements (SPAs), order management, customer onboarding (including supply chain impact) and identifying and presenting quality and efficiency KPIs and related metrics.
• Aim for high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency throughout the organization, including monitoring individual and group sales performance, sales campaigns, and specific organization initiatives.
• Inform the organization and its leadership on sales performance through accurate and data driven monitoring, evaluation, reporting, forecasting, and planning.
• Maintain key regional customer relationships alongside the sales team; being a resource, additional touch point, advocate, etc.
• Regularly contact and build relationships with key manufacturer partners for new business generation, sales/customer support and SPAs.
• Familiarity with top 15 accounts for your region; wallet share, MoM and YoY revenue, customer segments, active accounts and revenue mix by segment, residential vs commercial mix %, reseller mix, customer retention %, top 5 accounts by revenue each month, attainment to budget.
• Regular in-person customer visits with sales team members and review of call/meeting logs to identify opportunities for growth and addressing obstacles internally with key internal stakeholders.
• Prepare for and lead an engaging and inspiring weekly sales meeting to celebrate wins, share best practices and discuss important information and strategy with your team.
• Prepare regional sales reports for weekly departmental and executive report outs.
• Define and/or implement a high-level vision of the organization and develop regional strategies to meet those goals.

Sales Manager

Account Executive

• Outside Sales Representatives deliver a differentiated experience for our installer partners by understanding the full scope of their customers' needs and recommending tailored solutions that leverage our products, services, and logistics expertise
• By providing informed, objective insights on solar-electric (PV) systems—including competitor offerings—they help position us as the preferred solar and energy storage distributor
• Plan and execute sales strategy and action plans in order to achieve business goals and revenue targets
• Establish, build and foster meaningful business relationships within your region in collaboration with other team members
• Participate in sales blitzes and other sales and marketing events in order to produce impactful results
• Accountable for decisions that support BayWa inventory health and customer needs (win/win deal making)
• Recognize the scope of our services and the uniqueness of the methods, products and systems we employ to better drive customer partnership and retention
• Stay on top of industry trends and the strengths and weaknesses of competitors in the market
• Collaborate with the Branch Manager and operations team in the region to demonstrate the resources and expertise of BayWa to clients during the sales process to ensure confidence in the value and competence of the team
