About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join the Community Division of OHSU as a general radiologist at Hillsboro Medical Center
- Provide general radiology services in a direct hospital-employed position
- Read cases across CT, ultrasound, MRI, and other radiology modalities
- Perform light general radiology procedures, including drainages, biopsies, arthrograms, and joint injections
- Participate in a shift-based practice with a target of 180 shifts per year for a 1.0 FTE radiologist
- Cover one hospital and one imaging center in Hillsboro
- Participate in equally distributed call, prorated for FTE, including weekend call shifts
- Collaborate with subspecialty-trained radiologists and a physician assistant for procedures
- Provide high-quality patient care in a suburban community-based radiology practice
Requirements
What you’ll need- Board-certified radiologist
- Experience reading all radiology modalities, including CT, US, and MRI
- Experience with light general radiology procedures such as CT- and ultrasound-guided drainages/biopsies, arthrograms/joint injections, and breast biopsies
- ABR Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency
- Eligible to practice in Oregon
- International Medical Graduates must hold valid ECFMG certification and be ABR Board Certified or Board Eligible through the ABR IMG Alternate Pathway Program
- Candidates at all levels of practice, including those currently undertaking residency or fellowship training, are encouraged to apply
