About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collect and analyze data in the lab or field
Conduct data entry and validation
Conduct literature reviews
Learn and apply professional concepts to resolve problems of limited scope and complexity
Perform routine duties as directed under the supervision of study personnel
Travel to domestic and regional field research sites to support focus groups, environmental scans, community forums, consenting individuals, and data collection
Assist with outreach activities including mailings and website support
Provide technical administrative support for the BOLI Workforce Development Program in the Huang Safety Climate Lab

Requirements

What you’ll need

Enrolled in, on vacation from, or otherwise registered in an undergraduate program with a minimum of 6 credit hours
Experience with the technical side of public health and medicine
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Exceptional organizational skills and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to be self-motivated, prioritize effectively, and achieve deadlines
Ability to gather, compile, analyze, and maintain information from research publications and web sources
Ability to exercise discretion when dealing with sensitive issues and maintain research integrity
Preferred: student currently working on a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Preferred: experience in research
Preferred: knowledge of web development, cloud systems, and AI-enabled applications
Preferred: ability to understand and explain technical language/systems
Preferred: experience using Microsoft Azure
