About the role

Supervise web development and engineering team members
Provide daily oversight and training of staff
Mentor team members in agile and scrum principles
Lead the technical strategy for the team in partnership with the Director of Digital Strategy
Collaborate with the Digital Strategy Director to manage backlogs efficiently and plan sprints
Respond to escalated support inquiries and assess priority of reported issues
Facilitate meetings effectively and promote open communication and collaboration

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience
At least five years of progressively responsible IT experience, including one year in a lead or supervisory role
Proven experience in a similar technical leadership role within a software development environment
Extensive experience in software development
Experience developing in or supporting developers in shared web environments
Minimum of two years of experience serving as a solution architect, technical business analyst, developer or engineering lead role on digital projects
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Familiarity with data modeling, database design and Unified Modeling Language (UML)
