About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the Home Loan Program’s business development, outreach, marketing, communications, and partner engagement efforts
- Increase awareness, understanding, and appropriate use of the ODVA Home Loan Program across Oregon
- Build and maintain relationships with eligible veterans, mortgage brokers and lenders, real estate professionals, veteran service organizations, housing partners, community organizations, public agencies, and other stakeholders
- Promote the program through strategic marketing, industry engagement, presentations, partner education, communication campaigns, and digital outreach
- Develop, implement, and evaluate statewide outreach, marketing, and communication strategies
- Recruit, educate, and support approved and prospective mortgage industry partners through presentations, training, onboarding, and relationship management
- Represent the Home Loan Program at industry meetings, conferences, housing events, veteran resource fairs, and other public outreach activities
- Coordinate public-facing communications including website content, social media, newsletters, presentations, and educational materials
- Research and analyze mortgage market trends, housing data, outreach performance, partner engagement, and program utilization
- Maintain outreach records, partner databases, performance metrics, and reports
- Collaborate with Home Loan Program staff and agency leadership to improve program visibility, partner engagement, customer experience, and operational effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with agency policies and program requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a degree related to the agency program, and four years’ experience coordinating or administering a program; OR any combination of experience or education equivalent to seven years of experience supporting the classification’s knowledge and skill requirements
- Experience developing and implementing statewide outreach, marketing, and communication strategies
- Experience building and maintaining partnerships with mortgage lenders, brokers, real estate professionals, veteran organizations, community partners, and public agencies
- Experience planning and delivering presentations, trainings, and educational programs
- Experience creating and coordinating marketing materials, social media content, website updates, newsletters, and other public-facing communications
- Experience monitoring mortgage market trends and analyzing outreach and program performance data
- Experience coordinating broker and lender onboarding, communications, training, and ongoing partner engagement
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate, consistent, and compliant program messaging
- Successful completion of a fingerprint-based criminal history background check through Oregon LEDS and National NCIC systems
- Valid Oregon or Washington State driver’s license required
- Successful Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and ongoing monitoring as a condition of continued employment
- Must be authorized to work in the United States; ODVA does not offer visa sponsorship
