About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join our team as the change & engagement team communications specialist where you will help shape how DMV communicates with employees, customers and partners.
- Develop communication strategies that encourage new technologies, services and initiatives.
- Design and execute strategic public affairs and public information plans.
- Supervise the writing and production of publications about agency programs.
- Research, write and edit internal and external messages including social media posts, news articles, and web content.
- Create and execute change and communication strategies that may include user experience testing, customer journey mapping, and media kits.
- Advise and create key messages for executive leaders and managers.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Eight years of experience directly related to the position under recruitment.
- Five of the eight years must have been at the professional level;
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, public relations, marketing, journalism, behavioral science, social science, or related field AND five years of professional level experience in public relations or public affairs.
- Must have a valid US driver license and an acceptable driving record.
