Key responsibilities & impact

Supervise the Assessment Team in developing and implementing Oregon’s statewide assessment system.
Provide statewide leadership and strategic direction for assessment and related reporting functions.
Ensure compliance with state and federal requirements while advancing educational equity.
Create and implement policies and direct program and fund administration.
Evaluate staff and programs and serve as liaison with other state and federal agencies when necessary.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Seven years of supervision, management, or progressively related experience; OR four years of related experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field.
Demonstrated knowledge of K-12 systems, challenges, and opportunities at the building and district levels.
Experience working directly in leadership positions in K-12 settings using different types of data.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to apply an equity-focused, human-centered approach.
Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate across partnerships.
