About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the implementation of Oregon’s Volkswagen (VW) Environmental Mitigation Fund
- Support the Medium- and Heavy-Duty Vehicle Grants and Incentives team in carrying out day-to-day operations
- Provide technical expertise and assistance to eligible fund recipients
- Support fleet transition planning and implementation
- Monitor and evaluate program progress to ensure grant funded projects meet emissions reductions, timelines, and agency goals
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5 years of experience coordinating or administering a program
- Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, behavioral or social sciences, environmental science, or a closely related field may substitute for 3 of the required years of experience
- Master’s degree in business or public administration, behavioral or social sciences, environmental science, or a closely related field may substitute for 4 of the required years of experience
- Doctorate degree in business or public administration, behavioral or social sciences, environmental science, or a closely related field may substitute for 5 of the required years of experience
- Demonstrated understanding of environmental justice and the historical impacts for marginalized and underrepresented communities
- Experience analyzing data and financial information to oversee implementation of various aspects of a program
- Experience working with medium- and heavy-duty vehicle fleets
- Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings and building and fostering relationships with a diverse group of partners
- Experience conducting in-depth evaluations of program operations
- Strong interpersonal skills
