About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain QA plans and test strategies.
  • Establish automated regression testing capabilities for new and existing information systems.
  • Design, coordinate, and execute test cases and scenarios across releases, upgrades, and configurations.
  • Document and triage defects in test script code, perform root-cause analysis, verify fixes, and validate resolutions.
  • Maintain current test artifacts and quality documentation consistent with change histories.
  • Build and maintain QA dashboards and reports tracking defect rates, coverage, cycle times, and process outcomes.
  • Identify gaps in QA procedures and recommend corrective/preventive actions.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Four (4) years of information systems experience in Java Development.
  • Education will be counted as experience if degree is in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Associate’s Degree (or 2-year vocational training) = Two (2) Years
  • Bachelor's Degree = Four (4) Years
  • Finalists must pass a comprehensive employment reference check and fingerprint-based criminal background check.
  • A driver history check will be included for positions requiring state vehicle driving privileges.
  • Experience with Java-based automated testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, Specflow, or similar.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to design and execute test cases, scripts, and scenarios.
  • Experience with software quality assurance methodologies and SDLC/Agile practices.
  • Experience contributing to quality Assurance automation frameworks or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of data validation, SQL querying, or API testing.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy; commitment to quality, process improvement, and service delivery excellence.
  • Strong communication skills to support defect reporting and UAT guidance.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, analysts, project managers, and product owners.
