About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Integrated Eligibility Policy unit is responsible for developing and maintaining policy, administrative rule, and ONE system functionality related to Oregon Health Plan/Medicaid eligibility.
  • The position serves as the agency’s principal expert on Medical Work Requirements under House Resolution 1 (2025).
  • The role leads analysis of federal and state laws, regulations, and program data to develop, revise, and recommend changes to Medicaid administrative rules.
  • Produces policy guidance and issue analyses for OHA leadership, legislators, CMS, providers, and partners.
  • Leads system‑level planning for eligibility and Medicaid information systems, including business requirements, workflows, reporting standards, and safeguards.
