About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage multiple information technology projects from start to finish.
  • Create detailed project schedules with timelines, tasks, resources and cost.
  • Author key project artifacts such as charters, scope statements, risk and issue logs and project management plans.
  • Track and monitor project team tasks and progress.
  • Identify and manage project risks and resolve issues.
  • Ensure projects follow established processes and oversight requirements.
  • Provide clear verbal and written status updates to leadership and steering committees.
  • Handle contract tasks, including writing statements of work and reviewing invoices.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule or budget using approval procedures.
  • Review work from team members and contractors to ensure quality results.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Six (6) years’ of information systems experience in: project delivery of software application projects.
  • An associate's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field.
  • Four (4) years of information systems experience in: project delivery of software application projects.
  • A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field AND two (2) years of information systems experience in: project delivery of software application projects.
  • Master's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field may substitute for all of the above.
