Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead large, complex Workday Oregon projects from strategy and planning through implementation
  • Coordinate cross-agency project teams and collaborate with partners across the enterprise
  • Manage scope, timelines, risks, issues, and project dependencies
  • Ensure system solutions align with statewide policy, business requirements, and operational needs
  • Drive adoption and successful change outcomes across agencies during system rollouts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Seven years of professional level experience related to the class concept ; OR Six years of professional level experience related to the class concept AND an Oregon Project Management Associate Certification; OR Four years of professional level experience related to the class concept AND a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a closely related field; OR Two years of professional level experience AND Project Management Professional Certification awarded by the Project Management Institute.
  • Strong leadership and project management discipline.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-agency projects with diverse partners and customers.
  • Experience identifying, analyzing, mitigating, and managing risks.
  • Knowledge of IT system implementations or large-scale business transformations.
  • Excellent communication, partners engagement, and change management skills.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities.
  • Proficiency with tools like Microsoft Suite, SharePoint, Visio, and SmartSheets.
