About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Gather requirements of program operations and recommend and plan actions to meet business needs and goals in conjunction with program and Information Services team.
- Attend pre-scheduled in-person all-staff meetings at the central workplace located at 550 Capitol St. NE in Salem, Oregon, at least six times per year.
- Work at the central workplace on a more frequent basis with advance notice, as needed.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and two years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.
- Any combination of experience and education equivalent to five years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification.
- Demonstrated Experience Translating Business Needs into Technical Requirements: Proven ability to work with non-technical stakeholders to elicit, document, and refine both functional and non-functional requirements, and successfully hand them off to technical teams for execution.
- Experience Overseeing Multiple Concurrent Projects with Competing Priorities: Experience supporting several projects at once, including tracking timelines, risks, scope changes, and stakeholder expectations in a structured way.
- Hands-On Experience with Data Analysis and Visualization Tools: Practical experience using tools such as Power BI, Excel modeling, or similar platforms to analyze operational data and create dashboards that inform decision-making.
- Experience Improving Business Processes and Systems: Track record of evaluating workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending or implementing system or process improvements.
- Experience Establishing and Applying Structured Business Analysis and Project Practices: Demonstrated ability to bring organization and clarity to work by using or introducing structured approaches (e.g., requirements standards, process documentation, project tracking, prioritization methods) that improve consistency, transparency, and delivery outcomes.
