About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Overseeing the design of the roadway portion of contract plans.
- Ensuring continuity for transportation project plans that vary from low to highly complex.
- Making important engineering decisions.
- Compiling technical reports and design plans, specifications, and estimates.
- Designing and preparing plans, specifications, and estimates for projects.
- Developing detailed digital terrain models and providing grade reports.
- Preparing eBids and construction handoff packages.
- Mentoring and reviewing the work of junior engineers.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Possession of a Civil Engineering (CE) license in the State of Oregon OR the ability to obtain license within six months of hire.
- Driving is an essential function of this position. You must have a valid US driver license and an acceptable driving record.
