About the role

  • Support the agency’s Heat Pump Purchase Program (HP3) and other federally or legislatively mandated Energy Development Services (EDS) programs
  • Provide advanced program coordination, data oversight, and stakeholder engagement
  • Conduct research, technical review, and analysis for the agency’s HP3 program
  • Ensure compliance with program statutes and rules
  • Work schedule of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday–Friday
  • Expected to be physically at the central workplace located at 550 Capitol St. NE in Salem, Oregon, on Fridays for the first three months

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a degree related to Energy Incentive programs
  • Two years’ experience coordinating or administering a program
  • Experience evaluating program guidelines
  • Analytical skills and sound decision-making skills to assess compliance and ensure consistency in the application of program rules
  • Experience conducting outreach and maintaining positive relationships with the public, stakeholders, diverse community/stakeholder groups, other agencies, and Tribal and local governments
  • Experience maintaining a database, capturing data, updating data, analyzing data, generating reports, and reporting out to stakeholders
  • Experience working in or with governmental agencies
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout the state as needed
  • Knowledge about renewable energy systems or energy resilience is preferred but not required
