About the role
- Serve as the agency’s lead budget and fiscal expert
- Guide the full budget lifecycle from development and validation to execution and ongoing monitoring
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the budget
- Deliver advanced fiscal analysis informing strategic planning
- Assess financial trends and translate complex data into recommendations
- Safeguard the agency’s fiscal health
Requirements
- Six years of progressively responsible experience in budget preparation, analysis, and administration
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Public or Non-Profit Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field may substitute for three years of experience
- A graduate degree in related fields may substitute for four of the six years of experience
- Advanced Analytical and Fiscal Modeling Skills
- Advanced Excel Expertise with pivot tables and complex formulas
- Exceptional Documentation and Organizational Skills
- Collaborative and Customer-Service-Oriented Approach
- Experience with State or Comparable Financial Systems
