About the role

  • Review client requests for proposals and scopes of work
  • Act as Orbital representative at bid walkdowns
  • Prepare manhour estimates and proposals
  • Lead electrical power systems analysis projects
  • Perform site walks for data collection to support the analyses
  • Perform load flow, short circuit, arc flash, and protective device coordination studies in SKM/ETAP
  • Produce reports detailing findings from analyses
  • Coordinate with project design/engineering teams to implement findings from analyses
  • Act as QC resource by reviewing reports and analyses produced by other team members
  • Support regional business development initiatives including capability discussions with existing and new clients
  • Mentor junior engineers and staff

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
  • Ten (10) years of prior professional experience
  • Exposure to the Metals, Midstream Oil & Gas, Refineries & Petrochemical and/or Utilities & Power Generation industries
  • Proficiency in SKM and ETAP
  • Experience leading project teams or engineering teams
