About the role
- Review client requests for proposals and scopes of work
- Act as Orbital representative at bid walkdowns
- Prepare manhour estimates and proposals
- Lead electrical power systems analysis projects
- Perform site walks for data collection to support the analyses
- Perform load flow, short circuit, arc flash, and protective device coordination studies in SKM/ETAP
- Produce reports detailing findings from analyses
- Coordinate with project design/engineering teams to implement findings from analyses
- Act as QC resource by reviewing reports and analyses produced by other team members
- Support regional business development initiatives including capability discussions with existing and new clients
- Mentor junior engineers and staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
- Ten (10) years of prior professional experience
- Exposure to the Metals, Midstream Oil & Gas, Refineries & Petrochemical and/or Utilities & Power Generation industries
- Proficiency in SKM and ETAP
- Experience leading project teams or engineering teams
